Mr. Ambition, Wale, is head back to Seattle to kick off your thanksgiving weekend, but it is better look for northwest hip hop. Wale is headlining, but some northwest hip hop artist will be rocking the stage. And people will show up for the local artist, too. The buzz an industry artist with a very recently dropped album will create will only bring new people out to the music they may or may not heard before.
So Luck -One and Logics, I will expect them to do what they do best. Luck-One’s new material King of the Northwest mixtape that dropped in September has been around the town, but is a Portland, Oregon representer. Logics has been running the west coast for a while, but got chance to get more info on that from my interview here. The Seattle stop on the tour is sold out so if ya homie ain’t got an extra ticket for you then you may be out of luck, but he Portland stop may still have some tickets available for the 26th show.
